Is the food safe to eat?+
Yes. Every box is food that's perfectly fresh, just close to a sell-by date or end-of-day surplus. Our partners are licensed bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets — the same standards as their full-price stock.
What's actually in a surprise box?+
It depends on the spot — bread and pastries at a bakery, hot meals at a restaurant, fresh produce at a market. You'll see the type and price before you reserve. The exact contents are the surprise.
How do I pick it up?+
After reserving, we send you a QR code and a pickup window (usually 30 min to 3 hours). Walk in, show the QR, walk out. No queues, no awkwardness.
What if I can't make the pickup window?+
Reservations are non-refundable once the window opens — the food would otherwise be thrown away. Plan the pickup before you reserve.
Do I need to download an app?+
